Kato Diminio
Kato Diminio, one of the largest villages in the Municipality of Sikyona, stretches along the coastal zone of the municipality, 2 km west of Kiato, forming a natural extension of the town.
The village is known for its beautiful beach and crystal-clear waters. The small pine forest running parallel to the village's beach is known as Pefkias and is believed to have once formed part of a larger pine forest, along with the Pefkias of Xylokastro, that covered the southern shores of the Corinthian Gulf.
Today, Kato Diminio has around 1,100 residents, many of whom are entrepreneurs, mainly in the tourism sector, while others work in agriculture. It is one of the most important summer resorts in the Municipality of Sikyona and the entire region of Corinthia.
The Pefkias Beach is awarded the Blue Flag every year, offering a wide range of activities for its visitors, including beach volleyball, beach soccer, racket courts, and outdoor playgrounds for children. Additionally, the beach is equipped with facilities to support easy sea access for people with disabilities, as well as several establishments integrated into the natural landscape, providing entertainment and relaxation for vacationers.
