Kaisari

The village of Kaisari is situated at an altitude of 880 meters, next to the village of Klementi, on the slopes of Mount Ziria. The two villages are often referred to together as "Klementokaisari." Both are built in a privileged location, overseeing the entire plain of Stymphalia and the mountain passes. The village is renowned for its excellent and healthy climate, as well as its incomparable agricultural products. In the stone-paved village square stands the church, dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Savior. Near the village, on a hill to the southeast, is a medieval structure known by the Turkish name "Goulas." It is a circular tower with a diameter of about 18 meters, built with materials that include ancient stone, possibly from a Hellenistic temple that once stood there.
