Drosopigi

Drosopigi is built on the southern slopes of Mount Kyllini (Ziria), northwest of Lake Stymphalia, at an altitude of 800 meters.

Its former name was "Basi". The village served as the seat of the Notaras family during the Ottoman period and especially during the Greek War of Independence.

To this day, the "Notaras Tower" still stands – a two-story, circular tower with a diameter of 12 meters, built during the Ottoman era. The mansion of the Notaras family also remains in relatively good condition.

The village is characterized by its old stone houses, and even some newer homes maintain the traditional architecture.
