Women's Cultural Association of Moulki

The Women's Cultural Association of Moulki was established in 2008 with the aim of strengthening the bonds of friendship and solidarity among its members, as well as generally enhancing the cultural, educational, and spiritual level of the village. The main goals of our association are the development of activities aimed at the creative engagement of women, active participation, cooperation, and qualitative relationships among the members (crafts, visual arts, traditional dance lessons), the organization of educational programs on topics related to women and family (seminars), the creation of a blood bank for the needs of our members and the residents of our village, contributing to solving local environmental problems and developing volunteer actions (recycling, reforestation, etc.), preserving our cultural and folk heritage, operating a dance group for children and adults with the goal of preserving tradition, promoting folk music and traditional dances, organizing events to revive local customs and traditions (Carnival events, Clean Monday celebrations, St. John Riganas), organizing trips and educational and recreational events, a traditional products bazaar, participation in a tasting competition, and theatrical performances by our children's group. Additionally, the dance group participates in traditional dance festivals both within and outside the Corinthia region.

The Women's Cultural Association of Moulki also maintains its own wardrobe with traditional costumes from Thrace, Samos, Epirus, Corfu, Vlach costumes, and Corinthian costumes, all sewn and embroidered by the women of the dance group.
