At the eastern entrance of Psari stands the imposing Holy Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, which has stood for over 100 years. The stone-built basilica, without a dome, was constructed with great effort in 1905. It is distinguished by its magnificent stone bell tower, which is yet another excellent example of the skill of the Lagadian craftsmen in stone carving and processing. The church celebrates every year on the 15th of August, and its traditional feast once served as a major event and a gathering point for visitors from all over Corinthia!
