At an altitude of 950 meters, around the village of Velina and towards Konomavra Klimentiou, stretches the famous natural black pine forest, covering an area of 2,200 acres. The forest is made up of towering trees belonging to the Mediterranean endemic species of black pine and is a favorite destination for locals and visitors for mild hiking or biking.
By following the forest road or the trails that cross the famous forest, hikers or cyclists have the opportunity to experience the magic of nature, the rich scents of pine and mastic trees, and enjoy the unique view that periodically opens up before them, either towards the plain of Stymphalia or towards the shores of the Corinthian Gulf!
